Yoga

This ancient natural method of healing is about feeling good, relaxed and energised. It is not about how bendy you are and whether you can touch your toes or not. It is about doing whatever you can and being completely content with your effort.

The poses gently stretch, open and ease away any tight spots and create space in your body. You begin to focus on how your body feels, how your breath feels and slowly you begin to listen. It is this focus on all your sensations that means you are practising Yoga, without this focus you are simply exercising.

Today, in our hectic modern lives, we are facing stresses and tensions beyond our control. We are bombarded with external distractions from all angles. Yoga, the oldest science of life, can teach us to bring our lives back under control and find the balance and space we need.

There are many styles, teachers and techniques in the world of Yoga and at Inner Space we want you to have the best Yoga experience whatever tradition you have joined us from. Each class is kept to a maximum of 14 students to ensure a high level of personal attention can be given to each new yogi.

 

Beginners Yoga

The best place to start if you are new to yoga or returning after a long break. A slow paced instructive class in which to learn all the basic asana and sun salutation before you are ready to move to the next level.

Mixed Level Yoga

This class is suitable for all levels, excluding complete beginners. Our teachers have the ability of showing many variations to each pose so that each individual is working at their own level, whilst keeping the class fresh and inspiring.

Intermediate Yoga

This class is aimed at those who are looking for a faster flowing and more challenging class. Less detailed instruction is given as the pace of the class is increased. We move away from the basic sequences and start to enjoy a much more creative and varying practice.

Private Yoga Classes

Whether you prefer practicing alone or in a group, are a beginner or an expert, private lessons allow you to have your own personal Guru.Helped in the true Gurukula way of one on one instruction you can focus on specific areas you wish to improve on, have a Yoga practice designed specifically to your needs so you are able to enjoy Yoga at your own level.

All classes are run on a course basis and need to be booked and paid for in advance.
