Victoria Kovalevskaya

Victoria is a sensitive, intuitive and compassionate yoga teacher. Her classes are infused with inspiration, creativity and awareness. She teaches Vinyasa based classes which evolved from a synthesis of Ashtanga Vinyasa, Jivamukti, Dynamic, Anusara and Prana Flow Yoga. The sequences within her classes are dynamic, meditative, breath-movement synchronised, creative and invigorating.

Victoria's transformational yoga journey began in 2005, she received her Yoga alliance RYT 200hr Teacher Training taught by Elena Voyce, London. In addition Victoria attended a year cours ein Thai massage therapy which has allowed her to gain more knowledge, awareness and experience in body movement therapy.

April Thrush

After working her way through the corporate world and feeling unfulfilled, April took the step of leaving her career and stresses behind to explore what the world had to offer. A three year journey took her to the corners of the world, exploring cultures, traditions and different ways of life.

She began practicing Yoga seriously in 1995 having bought the ‘New book of Yoga' by the Sivananda Yoga centre. During a year stay in India she spent the vast amount of her stay studying Yoga in an Ashram. She returned to England three stone lighter with an appetite for more Yoga! Within a few months she was back in India and training as a teacher. She came home and set up a few local classes in church halls to test the water, the classes grew and now four years later she has opened her first studio.

Today her influences continue to be from her Guru-Swami Guru Prasad. But others are a little closer to home as she studies with teachers such as Donna Farhi and Brian Cooper. Shiva Rea is a constant joy as are the words of Erich Schiffmann. Her journey is far from over and yet she still continues to enjoy the path as much as her first steps along it.........

Jenny Mills

Jen recently graduated in Theatre Studies from Lancaster University. Her course included contemporary and post-modern dance, which have subsequently consumed her life for the better. She is stimulated by, performing, creating and choreographing new pieces of theatre and dance. Feeling consumed and inspired by Yoga along with a compelling desire to visit India, Jen travelled to Kerala and trained in the Sivananda Ashram, where she completed her Yoga Teacher Training. Here she found a deep understanding of yoga, physically, mentally and spiritually. "India has become a very special place to me; I deeply miss the culture, landscape and the people. Jen makes frequent visits to London, attending numerous workshops and classes to further her yoga, dance and theatre.

"Yoga has become a new but intense love of mine, I feel blessed to have found two disciplines that compliment each other so beautifully".
